Monaro reads the drawing set itself. Schedules are extracted, symbols are counted, and a structured equipment list is ready for pricing in under 20 minutes. From there it carries the bid through supplier RFQs, quote generation and ERP sync.
Bluebeam is where many distributor bid desks do takeoffs today, counting by hand on a PDF. Monaro automates that counting entirely.

When Bluebeam is the right choice
You need a general PDF tool for markup, RFIs, punch lists and design review across many trades, or your estimators want full manual control of every measurement. Bluebeam is the industry standard for PDF collaboration and Monaro does not replace that.
When Monaro is the right choice
